Sharnam Sewa Samiti

SSS is celebrating the Women's Day every year since 2006 by organising rallies, seminars, workshops and debates. It promotes best practices that help in creating equal status for women in the society and focuses on women empowerment. This provides the women of various communities come together at one platform to share their views of on life.

Year 2008 witnessed a remarkable participation by more than 15000 women living both in urban slums and adjoining rural villages of Lucknow where a team of 10 resource persons and community mobilisers planned and implemented a number of socially relevant activities.
