Sharnam Sewa Samiti

The organisation is undertaking several initiatives to protect the fast depleting natural resources through mass awareness campaigns with the involvement of children in various quiz, debates and street plays to highlight the importance of environment on our existence and therefore the underlying responsibility of the people to safeguard this resource.

It is organising environment education camps at community level and environment education quiz at school level. Environment education and awareness plays a significant role in encouraging and enhancing people's participation in safeguarding their natural surroundings.

Since 2005, Sharnam Sewa Samiti has been devoting its entire attention to urban slum areas in Lucknow City and rural areas in Laharpur block of Sitapur district. In 2008 the organisation focussed its attention on the St. Bilal Convent School in Sitapur and covered 5000 population.
